LEADERSHIP - MOTIVATION SEMINAR
Are you a Mercenary, Missionary, Reactionary or Visionary?
According to Webster's', A Mercenary is someone who serves merely for monetary gain. A Missionary is
someone on a charitable mission. A Reactionary is someone who opposes progress. A Visionary
is someone with foresight. How would you define your style of
interaction with others? Would you be a good Leader? Manager?
Administrator? Or Coach? Could you be all four? Should you be all four?
If you know the answers to these questions you are among only a select few. All around us we see incompetence, ignorance and yes, occasionally stupidity.
Or, is it systems, processes or environments that promote it. We may be
creating the See No, Speak No, Hear No Problem style of management that
often exists in organizations.
Sam has spent the
last 24 years in law enforcement as an officer, investigator, trainer,
administrator and Chief of Police, focusing on the Power of People, and
the Power of Enthusiasm. He was hired as Chief of Field Operations for
a leading wireless internet company and later promoted to Vice
President of Sales and Marketing. He recognizes the worth of the individual employees' contribution in the workplace and a failure to foster their contribution is like waiting for a wrecking ball to take down your organization.
Sam's law enforcement career has been extensive with many assignments
and responsibilities, but most importantly he has kept his
eye on the objective; Productivity. He promotes a true
Open Door atmosphere
and reveals how valuable this can be to any organization. He believes
the private sector teaches the public sector a thing or two about
results. The private sector
lives or dies by production. The public sector survives by tax dollars and thrives by the examples set forth in a successful private sector organization.
Sam is the kind of speaker who is challenging the process, and improving the future. He
will ask the questions others are afraid to. Other's may say, if isn't
broke, then why fix it. Sam will tell you it's because you don't know it's broken
and your staff is too afraid to point it out. Sam helps open up lines
of communication and discussion during a thought provoking seminar. He
will ask questions why they do what they do, and why it's important.
If you truly believe things are fine the way they are, his seminars are
probably not for you. But, if you believe there is room for
improvement, then his seminars are for you. He is uniquely concerned
with employee morale. Make the employee your first concern
and customer service will improve. Without the customer your business
would not exist. The public sector can no longer ignore this fact. Many
public duties are being privatized. Competition is fierce and whoever
rises to meet the challenge will succeed in a world where the only constant is change.
Make a conscious decision to make a change, and start with his seminars.
